Programme Administrator – Data Skills for Work

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Programme Administrator to provide a full range of support services to the £1.2M Data Skills for Work programme, a stream of the £8m City and Region Deal Data Driven Innovation Skills Gateway programme led by the University of Edinburgh.

This is a key role to ensure the effective and efficient operation across the project portfolio. The postholder will work closely with the Project Delivery Manager and the wider TDL team to support delivery of DDI-DSW, helping empower workforces across the Edinburgh & South East Scotland City region, linking them to training in data analytics, data science and other data-related activities, signposting to relevant courses provided by local FE, HE, online and other training and education providers.

The postholder will act as first point of contact for all enquires about the programme and day to day liaison with stakeholders including service users, employers, training providers, governance groups and delivery partners.

The Data Lab team are working from home during lockdown and can support flexible working to accommodate personal circumstances. We expect that recruitment and on-boarding will be remote and full support will be given throughout the process.

This is a fixed term, full-time position starting asap and available initially for 2 years, with the possibility of extension. This post is graded at UE05 with an annual salary of £23,067-£26,715.
