Get up to £5,000 to upskill your staff through our Data Skills Credits Scheme! Applications close on Friday 8th October 2021.

Apply for funding of between £500 and £5,000 towards the cost of data related training for organisations with workforce in South East Scotland.

Data Skills Credits can be used to fund training offered by further and higher education institutions and other training providers. We will consider applications where training has already been identified but can also support you to find the right training provider for your needs. You can apply for up to £500 per employee, for a maximum of 10 employees.

The Scheme is funded through the Edinburgh & South East Scotland City Region Deal and administered by The Data Lab Data Skills for Work Programme.

To apply employers must be operating in East Lothian, West Lothian, Midlothian, Fife or the Scottish Borders with employees in our target groups. From data literacy to ethics, AI to coding, or analytics to databases, there are numerous courses available that will be invaluable to future proofing your workforce. The Data Skills for Work programme aims to empower people across Lothian, Fife, and the Scottish Borders with skills to take advantage of the world of work shaped by data-driven innovation, training them for changing roles and preparing them for the jobs of the future.
