Data Skills for Work is looking for testers from the neurodivergent community
The Data Skills for Work journey is designed as part of our programme that aims to empower people across Lothian, Fife, and the Scottish Borders with skills to take advantage of the world of work shaped by data-driven innovation, training them for changing roles and preparing them for the jobs of the future. Our ambition is to enhance the local labor market with a range of data skills – including widening opportunities for workers in jobs that are being changed by automation, women returners, people with disabilities, and BAME communities.
This call is aiming at testing the accessibility of our Data Citizen Journey with the neurodivergent community (preferably) or anyone that considers themselves as part of our target audience.
Testers will embark on our basic educational journey and will need to answer a feedback survey after completing it. The answers will help Data Skills for Work making the learning experience better in terms of usability, accessibility and sensory issues. Our testers will be awarded a badge and certificate and able to apply for our grants – when the call is open – to progress their learning.
